William Owens Bio

William Owens Jr. started in the culinary industry in high school at 16 years old.  He was employed at Joint Base MDL (McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst), New Jersey in environmental services.  William returned each summer and was promoted to a cook in his early twenties. He consistently improved upon his skills by studying, training and working under various Executive Chefs with Mediterranean to Kosher expertise.  William was employed as a Banquet Chef for Marriott International and an interim Executive Chef for the Wyndham Group while simultaneously completing a curriculum at Cathedral Kitchen to earn his Servsafe Food Protection Management Certification.  William is a Certified Servsafe Instructor, a Registered Servsafe Proctor.  His studying continues and most recently received his Servsafe Alcohol Certification Card.  He supports continuing education and administers certification exams for clients. Currently, William is contracted as the Grillardin Chef at NFL Films also still catering events and a personal chef.
